INTERIOR PICTURES

1969 Ford Mustang Convertible

I used to have a 1969 Shelby convertible and really liked the high back bucket seats.  Very few 1969 Mustang Convertibles came with the deluxe interior and I just don't like they way they look with the low-backs.  This car originally had standard interior and all the pieces now are from a Mach 1, including the deluxe interior door panels, gauge surroundings, console etc.  I couldn't be happier with how it looks.

All interior removed and cleaned, ready to insulate.  Wiring on floor is running back to the amp for the stereo

Used the slot in the back to run the port for the stereo

Even more B-Quiet

This stuff is really amazing how it cuts out road noise.

Interior shot from drivers side.  This is prior to adding the Grant GT wheel.  The old wood wheel was hell to hold on to.

Front high-back comfortweave seats

Rear seats in comfort weave.

Closer shot showing the Focal rear seat speakers.  The grills are dyed to match the Ivory White interior color.

The shift lever is an old Hurst unit that I had rechromed, and then shortened to make it a nice concise shift throw.

Deluxe interior console.  Used the automatic insert as the Tremec shifter is centered on the transmission instead of on the left side as with the original top-loader style transmission.

Deluxe interior door panels.

Polished the original ash trays.

Grant Signature Wheel with Mustang Horn Insert.  This wheel is real wood and really nice to use.

Beautifully done restoration on the original dash by Steve Duke.
